What to expect in my classes…
Elementary age homeschool classes and workshops are filled with age appropriate, hands-on activities that broaden art knowledge. We believe it is important to introduce students to different art media and techniques. We learn every person has a unique and individual artistic style. We understand that everyone is blessed with creative expression.
This multimedia course will cover a variety of projects including acrylic, tempura and watercolor painting, graphite, marker and colored pencil drawing, Zentangles, paper collaging and working with clay – to name a few. We will also study and recreate famous works of art.
Our middle and high school art courses are designed for students who desire further study in the fine arts field. Emphasis will be made on advanced techniques in the areas of drawing, painting, sculpting and collaging. Media to be covered: pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, tempera, specialty paper and clay. Students will study art movements and recreate famous works of art. Artist grade materials are used for most projects. Additionally, students are encouraged to work on independent projects of their choice during class. Please, feel free to contact me with any questions.
